About the Role
The Territory Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing new business opportunities, and providing exceptional customer support across an assigned territory. This individual will serve as a product specialist, educating healthcare professionals on the effective utilization of advanced medical technologies.
This is a field-based role with daily customer interaction, technical support, and relationship management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve established sales goals and drive revenue growth within the assigned territory.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while actively pursuing new business opportunities.
Provide on-site technical support, product demonstrations, and training to healthcare professionals.
Stay up to date with industry trends, product advancements, and competitive intelligence to deliver valuable insights to customers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer needs are met and issues are resolved quickly.
Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings through compelling presentations and professional engagement.
Required Qualifications
Bachelorâs degree in a relevant field.
Minimum 3 years of sales experience.
Strong understanding of sales strategies, contract administration, and group purchasing principles.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory (overnight travel <15%).
Valid state-issued driverâs license and a driving record meeting safety standards.
Willingness to comply with customer facility requirements (including drug screening or credentialing, as applicable).
Preferred Qualifications
Medical or healthcare sales experience.
Knowledge of surgical procedures, anatomy, and clinical terminology.
Proven ability to communicate product benefits in a clinical context.
Familiarity with medical device regulations and industry best practices.
