Clinical Nurse in Koch Perioperative Service (Hiring Immediately)
- The Clinical Nurse II will provide high-quality, patient-centered care across the following perioperative services:
- Pre-surgical (PSC) ServicesPost-Operative (PACU) Services
- Interventional Radiology (IR), Endoscopy and Bone Marrow Under Sedation
- Assure completion of required diagnostic and evaluative tests, providing related patient education programs and pre-operative clinical assessments.
- Work reciprocally with other members of the perioperative team.
- Implement the nursing process for surgical patients requiring monitoring and nursing interventions in an acute PACU setting
- Assure completion of required diagnostic and evaluative tests, providing related patient education programs and post-operative clinical assessments.
- New York State RN license and BSN
- Critical Care, Telemetry, Pre surgical or post-surgical experience preferred
- Strong IV Skills a plus
- BLS, ACLS
- 1-2 years of surgical oncology experience a plus

- Schedule: 10 Hour shifts, Monday - Friday flexed hours 6.30am - 9.00 pm with flexibility to work weekends as needed
