Location: Rochester, NY (Monroe County & Surrounding Counties)
Job Type: Full-time / 40 Hrs. Per Week / OT Available / Weather Dependent

Pay Range: $34.00 - $38.00 – Based on Experience and Certifications

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Professional Roofer to join our team. You will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship with strict adherence to safety protocols. This is an ideal position for someone with physical stamina and a strong background in construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation: Demolition, installation and repair various roofing systems including single ply membrane systems (EPDM, TPO, PVC), Modified / Built-up Roofing Systems, also willing to work on steep slope roofing systems (Metal, Asphalt Shingles & Slate)
• Maintenance & Repair: Inspect roofs to determine repair procedures and fix leaks, structural damage, or weather-related issues.
• Preparation: Stage, load and unload materials and maintain a clean, safe job site.
• Safety Compliance: Strictly follow OSHA guidelines and company safety protocols, including the proper use of harnesses, ladders, and scaffolding.
• Logistics: Ability to communicate with other crew members, other trades, general contractors and customers.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in commercial roofing preferred.
• Certifications: OSHA 10 certification required (OSHA 30 is a plus). Employer may provide.
• Skills: Ability to read blueprints/diagrams and perform basic math for material measurements.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and work at heights in various weather conditions.
• Tools: Must have your own basic hand tools.
• Location: Reliable transportation to job sites required.
