SVP, Content & Talent Partnerships

Fox Corporation
New York, NY

OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY

Fox Corporation

Under the FOX banner, we produce and distribute content through some of the world’s leading and most valued brands, including: FOX News Media, FOX Sports, FOX Entertainment, FOX Television Stations and Tubi Media Group. We empower a diverse range of creators to imagine and develop culturally significant content, while building an organization that thrives on creative ideas, operational expertise and strategic thinking.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Red Seat Ventures is a modern media company built for the creator economy, where audiences seek direct connection with the voices they trust. Founded in 2015 and acquired by Fox Corporation in 2025, Red Seat operates within Tubi Media Group and partners with high-profile talent to develop and grow personality-driven brands across podcasting, streaming video, newsletters, and live events. As one of the fastest-growing sectors in media by reach and influence, the creator economy is central to Red Seat’s mission to reimagine how consumers access news, insights, and entertainment. With a focus on scalable growth in categories like sports, news, and culture, Red Seat Ventures is building the next generation of premium, direct-to-consumer media experiences.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Red Seat Ventures is seeking a Senior Vice President, Content & Talent Partnerships to lead our end-to-end strategy for identifying, structuring, and closing high-impact talent deals. Reporting directly to the CEO, this executive will be responsible for sourcing premium creators, negotiating complex commercial agreements, and onboarding marquee talent into the Red Seat portfolio.

This role is central to our growth trajectory. You’ll operate as our lead dealmaker—working closely with agents, managers, and creators to assess opportunities and execute deals that drive long-term business value. You'll collaborate with Sales to model monetization potential, lead negotiations, and manage relationships from initial engagement through onboarding.

As Red Seat scales, you will also be responsible for building out a high-performing content leadership team, hiring vertical leads (e.g., Sports, News) who will report to you. The focus, however, will remain on closing transformative, A-level partnerships that elevate Red Seat’s position in the premium content landscape.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the full content deal lifecycle: source, evaluate, structure, and close new talent partnerships

  • Lead talent partnerships strategy from origination through onboarding for top-tier creator deals

  • Source, structure, and close high-value agreements with creators/personalities and their agents/managers

  • Model out revenue opportunities in collaboration with Sales and Finance; define ROI and monetization pathways

  • Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and IP ownership as needed

  • Build out and lead a team of genre-focused content heads (e.g., Sports, News, etc.)

  • Maintain strong market intelligence to inform who we approach, why, and when

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for talent business development; report regularly to the CEO

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 12+ years of experience across content partnerships, business affairs, or talent strategy—with a proven record of sourcing, structuring, and closing high-value deals

  • Proven network of agents, managers, and creators across multiple genres

  • Deep understanding of deal structuring, revenue modeling, and IP strategy

  • High EQ and ability to build trust with creators and talent teams

  • Strong operational skills—can execute quickly while navigating ambiguity

  • Prior success building content portfolios or talent pipelines at a media brand, podcast network, or agency

  • Experience reporting to or working directly with executive leadership

  • Strong collaboration skills across sales, marketing, and operational teams

  • Background in media, podcasting, talent management, or digital publishing

  • Experience managing genre-based content verticals

  • Familiarity with both the buyer and seller side of content negotiations

  • Prior work at a content studio, talent agency, or digital media network
