Digital Marketing Strategist

The Digital Marketing Strategist holds a digital-first mindset with experience in CRM and is focused on ideation, problem-solving, and execution of both short and longer-term strategies that solve our clients digital marketing challenges. They have a history of developing and executing successful strategic digital marketing programs.
This person is interested in consumer behavior and new technologies bringing a unique voice and perspective to their work. They’re a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of today’s top digital marketing, CRM and DTC/eCommerce best practices. In this role, they are responsible for providing strategic direction to the internal team, developing comprehensive marketing strategies, and managing digital marketing executions across web/CRO, CRM/email and search.
Responsibilities
Campaign Strategy and Oversight:
Lead the digital marketing team in crafting integrated, full-funnel digital marketing strategies and performance plans that build brand experiences and drive business growth for our clients online.
Define customer journeys and touchpoints to inform creative direction and content that drives audiences down the digital funnel to conversion.
Must be able to work closely with content/social strategists to ensure content creation is supported by SEO/SEM optimization, social and web strategy.
Partner with the account team to understand client challenges and goals, providing short and long term plans.
Collaborate with creative leads to ensure our creative output is delivering on our strategy and is setting our clients up for success.
Grow long-term relationships with our clients, becoming a go-to marketing consultant and advisor
eCommerce:
Apply and stay up-to-date on eComm best practices to help guide experience design and UX, feature enhancements, product assortment management, and tracking/analytics across digital properties with the goal of optimizing for conversion.
Partner with Digital Analytics Specialists and web experience leads to stay informed of site health and performance, monitoring KPI’s and giving recommendations to optimize conversion rate.
Oversee and support activation of key tent-pole campaigns and initiatives including implementation of DTC product launches, partnerships and more!
Participation in real-time client “go-live” sessions and serve as subject matter expertise and tech liaison during web launches.
Reporting and Insights:
Collaborate with Digital Analytics Specialists to report on and analyze campaign and evergreen metrics, providing actionable insights for optimizations and future opportunities.

Ideal Experience
4+ years of experience
A demonstrated history of developing and executing strategic digital marketing programs
Experience in Shopify, WordPress, and other CMS platforms
Experience with Google Analytics and other data analytics tools
Hands-on management of marketing CRM tools, utilizing user-friendly features to develop and deploy materials
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
