Sales Assistant - Wholesale & Off-Price Accounts
- Process and manage purchase orders for major retail accounts, including Marmaxx (T.J. Maxx/Marshalls), Nordstrom Rack, and other national retailers.
- Track orders from purchase through shipment to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Prepare sales reports, spreadsheets, and customer documentation.
- Support Account Managers with daily account maintenance and selling activities.
- Ensure compliance with retailer routing guides, labeling requirements, packaging standards, and shipping deadlines.
- Coordinate with internal teams to help minimize retailer chargebacks and shipment delays.
- Maintain an organized showroom and sample inventory.
- Prepare, tag, and ship product samples to buyers, sales representatives, and trade events.
- Assist with showroom setup for customer meetings and presentations.
- Work closely with production, logistics, warehouse, and customer service teams to support order fulfillment.
- Monitor inventory availability and communicate order status updates.
- Assist with EDI-related order processing and data accuracy.
- Serve as a day-to-day contact for buying offices regarding order updates, shipment tracking, product information, and digital assets.
- Build positive relationships through responsive, professional communication.
- 2 years minimum experience in wholesale fashion, apparel, accessories, or consumer products.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with ERP and EDI systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with department stores, off-price retailers, or vendor compliance requirements is highly desirable.
- Excellen written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work full-time on-site Monday through Friday in our TriBeCa office.
