Job Title: Emergency Room Technician

Location: Flushing, NY 11355

Duration: 9 Weeks

Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:15 PM

Local Pay: $25/hr ($1000/week)

Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Emergency Room Technician for an exciting job in Flushing, NY.

Responsibilities

• Support nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient care.

• Perform phlebotomy, obtain vital signs, and conduct bedside glucose monitoring.

• Perform EKGs, assist with arrhythmia surveillance, and support telemetry monitoring.

• Assist patients with mobility, hygiene, comfort, and activities of daily living.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized patient care environment.

• Communicate effectively with RNs and the interdisciplinary team regarding patient needs.

• Assist with emergency procedures as directed by clinical staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an ER Technician, EKG Technician, Nursing Attendant, or related role.

• Phlebotomy experience required.

• EKG/Arrhythmia Certification required.

• Medical Technician or Nursing Attendant certification preferred.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure.

• Demonstrated ability to follow clinical instructions and collaborate with care teams.
