Accounts Payable/Receivable

The Children's Home of Kingston is actively seeking an Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist. The individual in this role will work closely with the CFO and Accountant to ensure the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, compliance with grant regulations, and the maintenance of accurate financial records.
Qualifications :
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred. Associate's degree or equivalent experience may be considered
- Prior experience working in accounting or financial management, preferably in a nonprofit or grant-funded organization
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
