Community Broadband Networks (CBN) is a Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) dedicated to providing affordable, high-speed internet to underserved communities. As we expand broadband infrastructure, we are seeking a QA/QC Manager to ensure all construction and installation work meets the highest standards of quality, compliance, and reliability.Why You'll Love This Role
This role is ideal for someone with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for high-quality work. As QA/QC Manager, you'll inspect active and completed projects, maintain compliance documentation, and ensure every installation meets engineering and industry standards. Your oversight will directly support grant reporting and long-term network reliability.Responsibilities
Inspect completed broadband construction and installation projects to verify adherence to engineering specifications and standards Participate in final project acceptance reviews and sign-offs with leadership and municipal partners Conduct periodic audits of active work sites, documenting deficiencies and recommending corrective actions Oversee and validate fiber splicing, wireless installations, and testing activities to ensure proper tolerances are met Maintain comprehensive QA/QC reports required for compliance, funding agencies, and project closeout packages Collaborate with project managers, field supervisors, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues quickly Develop and update QA/QC procedures, checklists, and guidelines to align with industry best practices Provide training and guidance to field teams on quality standards and expectations Monitor materials and workmanship for adherence to company policies and grant requirementsQualifications
3+ years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or inspection (telecom, broadband, or construction preferred) Strong knowledge of fiber optic, fixed wireless, and cabling standards Familiarity with engineering drawings, specifications, and testing procedures Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills Ability to identify deficiencies and implement corrective actions effectively QA/QC certifications or related technical credentials preferred Join our team as a Quality Assurance Manager where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality are met while fostering an environment of continuous improvement within our organization.Job Type: Full-time
