Role: Payroll Specialist
Compensation: $27/hour (negotiable)
5 days/week in office

Payroll & Human Resources Administrator
Core Responsibilities
- Weekly Payroll & Reporting: Generate, analyze, and audit weekly payroll reports (e.g., Active No Hours, Pending Status, Inactive Hours, and Labor Distribution).
- System Data & Classifications: Ensure accurate employee staffing details, status changes, and pay classifications are routinely updated within company HR and timekeeping systems.
- Timekeeping Reconciliation: Review weekly timekeeping discrepancies and collaborate directly with field operations and payroll team members to resolve issues prior to processing.
- Union System Maintenance: Assist with the administration of union management systems, ensuring all employee status changes are updated promptly to prevent processing delays, penalties, or interest charges.
- Union Dues Administration: Receive, verify, and submit all notifications regarding union dues to the payroll department for timely processing.
- Team Collaboration: Interact constructively with the payroll team and field personnel to resolve everyday payroll inquiries in compliance with company regulations and legal standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 2 years of hands-on experience processing weekly payroll (union environment preferred).
- Strong familiarity with timekeeping and labor distribution reporting systems.
- High attention to detail with proven ability to audit data and resolve discrepancies quickly.
- Solid communication skills for effective cross-departmental and field interaction.
