Description:
Floor & Decor is seeking friendly and motivated Cashiers (Customer Service Associates) to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be the first and last point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service through greeting, checkout, product returns, and cash office functions. This role is available in both full-time and part-time capacities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a courteous and helpful manner
• Engage with customers about their projects, recommend products, and enhance their shopping experience
• Provide exceptional customer service that exceeds expectations
• Follow the company’s safety processes and core values
• Process customer transactions at checkout using the POS system
• Handle customer refunds and exchanges according to company guidelines
• Open and close cash registers, and follow established cash, check, and credit card procedures
• Answer telephone inquiries professionally
• Stock, tag, and display merchandise, including creating price tags and signage as needed

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Basic math skills
• Prior customer service experience
• Ability to travel to other stores for support if required

Working Conditions:

• Occasional exposure to warehouse environments and moving vehicles
• Noise levels typically quiet to moderate

Physical / Sensory Requirements:

• Medium work requiring occasional lifting of 20-50 pounds, frequent lifting of 10-25 pounds, and occasional use of hands for handling and feeling objects
• May occasionally stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

Store Hours:

• Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Sunday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Pickup Hours:

• Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Sunday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
