New York, NY 10007. * Telecommuting allowed within the U.S.WAGE RANGE: $137,410 - $161,000 annuallyJOB DESCRIPTIONBuild a technical solution for Better's data cataloguing, discovery, and lineage needs. Lead our BI migration project to migrate from Looker to QuickSight. Supervise deployed software through monitoring and data logging, identify areas of improvement and design required upgrades to improve performance. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of proposed solutions within project constraints. Improve experimentation platform through building frameworks around Airflow setup. Coordinate feature deployment and validation procedures to ensure continued functionality and delivered value of Better. Develop patterns for efficient use of dbt and Looker/LookML.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science Information, Information Management, or related field, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related.SKILLS REQUIREMENTSExperience must include 3 years with the following: 1) SQL; 2) Python; 3) Data modeling and database design; 4) BI tools including Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or Quicksight; 5) Designing and implementing data pipelines; and 6) Agile environments.Background checks may be required.APPLICANT INSTRUCTIONS: To apply, email resume to [email protected].
