Shift: 4x10-hour days (approximately 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.), with on-call and one weekend per month
Work setting: hospital environment; travel clinical assignment

Responsibilities
- Prepare the sterile field, set up instruments, and assist the surgical team during procedures
- Scrub in and handle instruments, maintain counts, and ensure sterile technique throughout cases
- Support general, robotic, and OR-level care; assist with trauma and neuro cases as needed
- Assist with DaVinci robotic procedures and interface with the surgical team for instrument delivery and equipment setup
- Document case details and patient information in the Epic EMR; comply with infection control and safety policies
- Coordinate with circulating staff for patient positioning, specimen handling, and equipment readiness
- Adhere to on-call requirements and fulfill the weekend shift rotation as scheduled

Requirements
- Certification: Surgical Technologist certification NBSTSA or NCCT (or grandfathered based on experience)
- Experience: 2+ years of surgical tech experience
- Special experience: scrub experience, trauma experience, and neuro experience required
- Setting experience: capable of providing general, robotic, and OR-level care; experience with DaVinci robotic system preferred
- Licensure/credentials: BLS certification required
- EMR: experience with Epic EMR or equivalent is preferred
- Population: able to work with pediatric through adult patient populations
- Travel policy: eligible for travel with 75-mile radius rule; locals may receive local rate if within 75 miles
