Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in the observation unit
- Monitor patient status, perform focused assessments, administer medications, and manage telemetry as required
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to determine patient disposition (admit or discharge) and ensure safe transitions
- Document care, assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
- Prioritize patient safety, comfort, and privacy; follow infection prevention and clinical policies
- Support on-call, call-back, charge duties, and holidays/weekends as needed

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in New York
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- ACLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- NIHSS certification preferred
- Two years of Med/Surg experience
- Telemetry experience required
