Payroll Processor
Payroll ProcessorProcess personnel transaction forms including new hires, changes in salary, employment dates etc.Process and enter payroll documents such as direct deposit forms, etc.Review transactions submitted to the payroll office to ensure position/employee information is completeInput all payroll transactions and deductions into the NYS Office of the Comptroller on-line payroll system (Payserv)Maintain files and recordsAssist senior payroll employees with the following: employment verification for credit inquiries, maintaining files and records, answering any payroll related questions and preparing various forms, statements and checking for accuracy.If necessary, during downtime, assist with other finance Department tasks, including Accounts Payable tasks. ### Work Hours: Full time (35-hour work week), Office Hours: 9am -5:00pm -NON-Remote job ### Qualifications: Associate degree or higher. Familiarity with MS Excel preferred. The ideal candidate will have an exceptional work ethic and confidentiality, work well under pressure, be proactive and take initiative.
