Product Manager, Payments Risk
About the Team
The Fraud team at DoorDash ensure that every transaction on DoorDash is flawless and safe for all parties involved. We do this by investing in systems that prevent, detect, and mitigate questionable activity on our platform, stopping it before it hits our consumer, merchant and dasher customers.
About the Role
The DoorDash marketplace is expanding rapidly beyond just restaurants as we become “your door to more." As we add new products, geographies, ways for Dashers to earn, as well as use cases to help consumers save time, we’re expanding and enhancing our systems to continue to be best in the industry at keeping our platform safe and trustworthy. We strongly believe that trust is the most important attribute of an online marketplace, and the Fraud team ensures that we maintain this trust.
One of the most important areas within Fraud is Payments - which involves assessing the risk of every transaction that is placed on the platform. Preventing bad actors from harming our platform is vital not only for DoorDash but also for the overall payments ecosystem, which involves card issuers, payment gateways, and banks. The checkout surface area is one of the most sensitive parts of our app, so caring about the good user experience is also vital.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…
- Directly influence the security and trustworthiness of our platform, ensuring that customers, merchants, and dashers can confidently engage with DoorDash.
- Join a rapidly growing organization where your ideas can drive innovative fraud prevention solutions and shape our fraud strategy from the ground up.
- Collaborate with teams across the DoorDash ecosystem giving you a holistic view of the business.
