Front Desk Receptionist - Wellness Group
We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our busy Wellness Group . This position serves as the first point of contact for patients and plays a vital role in maintaining smooth daily operations and exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check patients in and out with professionalism and warmth.
- Answer phones, schedule and confirm appointments, and update the schedule in real time (including cancellations, patient changes, and staff vacations).
- Verify insurance, collect co-pays, and ensure accurate patient information.
- Guide patients to their rooms promptly to maintain an efficient flow.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area and storage closet.
- Prepare the office before patient arrival, including organizing linens, setting up stations, and ensuring the office is tidy and dust-free.
- Provide general administrative support to the clinical and billing team.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical, chiropractic, or wellness office (preferred).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
- Reliable, self-sufficient, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency with scheduling software and basic computer applications.
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday–Friday (specific hours discussed during the interview).
Lunch break at 2:00 p.m. daily, adjusted as needed based on office hours.
Compensation:
Competitive pay, commensurate with experience.
