Media Operations Manager
Job Description:
Amplifi is dentsu's media investment and innovation platform, supporting our agencies and clients with the tools and expertise to drive smarter media decisions. We work closely with publishers, media companies, and tech partners to evolve how we engage with the supply side of the industry.
The Media Operations Manager will play a key role in building strong relationships with publisher partners—negotiating rates, publishing deals, and ensuring value for clients. You will ensure deals transact properly by regularly analyzing reporting, identifying trends, and uncovering opportunities to optimize current and future deals and supply offerings. In addition, you will track client spend, collaborate with supply partners, and contribute to strategy, testing, and the adoption of new supply products and capabilities.
You’ll also help test new features, contribute to technology strategy, and support Amplifi’s goal of increasing client value and revenue through innovative products. Success in this role starts with mastering the fundamentals—accuracy, attention to detail, and technical proficiency—while bringing a positive, collaborative attitude to the team. Strong foundational skills in media metrics, reporting, and analysis (including Excel pivots, CPM calculations, and trend spotting) are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a team resource for resolving inventory issues, billing questions, and invoice discrepancies, escalating as needed.
Manage campaign reporting, including performance pulls, data hygiene, and recurring dashboard updates across internal systems.
Perform data entry and QA to ensure accuracy in optimizations and pacing documentation.
Maintain and organize inventory management systems, including updating SharePoint, Excel trackers, and internal logs with negotiated supply, deal IDs, and publisher availability.
Monitor, assess, and analyze trends in campaign performance
Support Supply team workflows, assisting with deal creation, deal testing, publisher communication, and maintaining supply documentation.
Ensure cross-team coordination, proactively communicating updates, risks, and insights to Strategy, Planning, and Account teams.
Contribute to process improvements, helping refine documentation, workflows, and best practices for supply management and reporting.
Communicate with external partners (publishers, platforms, vendors) to ensure alignment on reporting, reconciliation, and delivery-related items.
Provide the team with critical updates regarding client concerns, internal workflow issues, account changes, or risks that may impact delivery or performance.
Maintain an approachable, solution-oriented presence, supporting staff and team members when problems or technical challenges arise.
Prepare and deliver accurate, timely, and constructive performance management documentation, supporting team development and coaching where appropriate.
