General Manager

General Manager oversees daily operations of the East Hampton Lucky’s location and ensures the location is operating in accordance with company standards and legal requirements. Key responsibilities involve building relationships with the community, supervising staff, managing budgets, and developing and implementing strategies for the growth and success of the location.

Duties/Responsibilities

Service & Guest Relations

  • Maintain and set the example of highest standard of customer service
  • Maintain a guest focused approach and ensure exceptional guest experiences
  • Ensure prompt response to guest inquiries, comments, and complaints in a professional manner
  • Foster relationships with regular customers, build relationships, gather feedback, and implement improvements

Employee Management

  • Ensure proper onboarding, off-boarding and training of all new and current employees.
  • Print and distribute training manual as outlined here to align team with Lucky’s restaurant group brand standard.
  • Check hours and submit weekly payroll notes
  • Collaborate with HR team to manage employee relations issues and ensure a harmonious work environment for all staff.

Sales & Costs

  • Work with East Coast GM to meet business objectives, develop and promote employees and meet sales goals in all applicable sales avenues.
  • Adhere to given budgets for labor and COGS categories
  • Participate in weekly financial meetings and contribute to the training of fellow management on financial targets.
  • Work with East Coast HM to analyze financial reports, identify trends, and take appropriate action to achieve financial targets
  • Inventory Management - take inventory using Margin Edge and reconcile monthly inventory across departments. Include the reconciliation report in the first financial meeting of each month.

Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including food safety and sanitation
  • Ensure the restaurant is operating within compliance of local labor laws
  • Maintain highest quality standards to ensure a safe working environment including maintaining HAACP, Board of Health protocols in everyday duties for all employee
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards.
  • Give prompt attention and response to on-site operational needs, especially ones that pose a risk to employees and customers.

Scheduling Requirements:

  • 5 days / week including dedicated office and service hours
  • Able to work nights, weekends and holidays, and variable schedule, per the needs of the business
