The organization includes five corporately affiliated hospitals, as well as skilled nursing facilities, community and school-based health centers, and health partners in related fields. More than 400 full-time salaried physicians and advanced practice clinicians who focus on patient-centered care.

Edmeston is located in Otsego County, 40 miles south of Utica, New York. The area is abundant, with four cultural and recreational activities including cross-country skiing, hunting, hiking, biking, camping, museums, the theater, and much more.

Job Description & Responsibilities

1. Edmeston-Burlington Health Center is a (NYS) Patient-Centered Medical Home recognized through the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). The NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home standards emphasize the use of systematic, patient-centered, coordinated care that supports access, communication and patient involvement.
2. Join an established group of Physicians and Advanced Practice Clinicians
3. Traditional outpatient practice, Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
4. No OB
5. Generative AI Scribes are offered to all Primary Care Physicians to help decrease time and stress associated with notes.
6. An innovative Inbasket Ninja Program in place for Primary Care that covers inbaskets of any departed providers or providers on leave or vacation
7. Fully integrated EPIC Electronic Medical Record
8. A first call system is in place with a nurse practitioner/physician assistant on call for your patients.
9. Salary Range: $320,000 – $347,000 . This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
10. Bassett offers Physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap. Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.
11. Residency stipend up to $45,000 available up to 18 months prior to graduation.
12. Sign-on Bonus up to $200,000
13. Loan Repayment may be available through Federal and State Loan Repayment Programs.

Job Qualifications

1. MD, DO or MBBS
2. Board Eligible or Board Certified
3. NYS Licensure
4. BLS, ACLS or PALS Certification Required
