Commercial Fencing Sales Representative - Residential & Commercial Projects
We are seeking a proactive Commercial Fencing Sales Representative to drive business growth in Albany, NY. This full-time role focuses on cultivating relationships with commercial clients, managing accounts, and supporting projects from initial contact through contract award. The ideal candidate thrives in a B2B sales environment and enjoys coordinating with estimating teams to deliver accurate proposals and outstanding customer experiences.
As a Commercial Fencing Sales Representative, you will identify new opportunities, maintain active client accounts, and ensure projects move smoothly from lead generation to signed contract. This role offers a combination of base salary and commission, along with long-term growth opportunities within a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial customers, contractors, and project stakeholders in Albany, NY
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities for residential and commercial fencing projects
- Support estimating teams by providing project information, pricing data, and scope review
- Conduct site visits as needed to evaluate project requirements and prepare accurate proposals
- Follow up on leads, bids, and active opportunities to drive contract awards
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project handoffs and client satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, client interactions, and project details
Requirements
- Experience in construction sales, fencing sales, or B2B sales roles
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
- Ability to manage multiple leads, prospects, and projects simultaneously
- Comfortable reviewing pricing, proposals, and technical project details
- Professional, customer-facing demeanor with a results-oriented approach
