Software Engineer - Developer Experience

We are hiring a Software Engineer for a leading HFT to join a Platform Engineering team, focused on building tools, systems, and platforms that enable developers to work faster, more reliably, and with confidence in a high -frequency trading environment. <\/span>
<\/span><\/div>

This role sits close to development teams and is responsible for improving the end -to -end software development lifecycle, from local development and testing through to build, deployment, and production operations. <\/span>

Key responsibilities: <\/span>
<\/span><\/b><\/div>

<\/span><\/div>

• Build and maintain internal developer tooling, platforms, and automation to improve speed and efficiency <\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>

  
  <\/span><\/div>

  • Design and support build, CI/CD, and deployment systems used across engineering teams <\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>

    
    <\/span><\/div>

    • Improve developer workflows by reducing friction, manual steps, and feedback loops <\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>

      
      <\/span><\/div>

      • Develop scalable, reliable infrastructure and services used by multiple teams <\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>

        
        <\/span><\/div>

        • Work closely with developers to understand pain points and deliver practical solutions <\/span>
          <\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>

          Requirements: <\/span><\/b>
          <\/span><\/div>

          
          <\/span><\/div>

          • Strong software engineering fundamentals <\/span>
            <\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>

            
            <\/span><\/div>

            • Experience building internal tools or platforms for developers <\/span>
              <\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>

              
              <\/span><\/div>

              • Familiarity with modern CI/CD, containerisation, and cloud -native systems <\/span>

                • Ability to write clean, maintainable code and work collaboratively in a fast -paced environment <\/span>
