Overview
Registered Nurse – ICU (Travel) in Saratoga Springs, NY. Start date 04/27/2026 for a through-summer assignment on a 3x12-hour night schedule. Weekly pay range: $2,238–$2,348 per week. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric ICU patients, including ventilator management using Servo/Hamilton systems.
- Monitor, interpret, and respond to cardiac rhythms; identify dysrhythmias and apply appropriate interventions per protocol.
- Manage invasive lines and devices (central lines, PICC) and administer blood products; support HFNC therapy, IV insulin protocols, and renal failure care as indicated.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (Respiratory Therapy, PT, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response, Transportation, Unit Secretary) to coordinate care; document in Epic.
- Maintain accurate charting in Epic, complete required Healthstream modules by deadlines, and participate in self-scheduling with weekend coverage as needed; float within the skill set at manager’s discretion.

Requirements
- Active New York RN license in hand; BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Minimum 3 years of current ICU experience (adult/geriatric); note: some compliance references indicate a 2-year minimum in the specialty
- Ability to read/interpret cardiac rhythms; pass facility proctored rhythm exam and onsite EKG proficiency (85% overall, with 100% identification of critical rhythms)
- Relias EKG exam required within 72 hours of signing
- Epic charting experience; Healthstream modules required and completed by deadlines
- Education: graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Scheduling flexibility: nights with weekend coverage; ability to float within skill set as needed
