Prep Cook

Superbueno is an award-winning Mexican cocktail bar in New York City, known for vibrant hospitality, thoughtful cocktails, and a high-energy guest experience. We’re looking for a Daytime Bar Prep team member to join our team and help keep the bar running at a high level. The Role

As a Daytime Bar Prep team member, you’ll play an essential behind-the-scenes role in preparing the ingredients and components that make our cocktail program possible. We’re looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, efficient, and takes pride in doing things the right way.

• Prepare fresh juices, syrups, garnishes, infusions, and other cocktail components according to recipes and specifications
• Complete daily bar prep lists accurately and efficiently
• Properly label, date, store, and rotate prepared ingredients
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary prep area
• Assist with maintaining bar inventory and restocking as needed
• Follow recipes, food-safety standards, and established prep procedures
• Work closely with bartenders, bar leadership, and the kitchen team
• Help ensure the bar is fully prepared for service each day
• Maintain a strong sense of urgency while paying close attention to detail

• Previous restaurant, bar, kitchen, or prep experience preferred
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and consistent
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Genuine interest in hospitality, food, and beverage
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move cases and supplies as needed

Experience with cocktail prep is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person.
