Location: New York, NY 10022

Job Type: Contract (Local or Travel)

Duration: 9 Weeks

Shift & Schedule

• 3 x 12-hour shifts (37.5 hours per week)
• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Rotating weekends and holidays

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and experienced CNA / Nurse Assistant to join an Acute Care Float team within a Hospital at Home program. In this role, you will deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic acute care environment while supporting clinical teams and maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff
• Assist with daily living activities, including hygiene, mobility, and feeding
• Monitor and record vital signs and patient status
• Support care coordination within the Hospital at Home model
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to care protocols
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized patient environment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience OR Certified Long-Term Care Nurse Assistant
• Previous nurse aide experience in a hospital setting or completion of an accredited Nurse Aide training program
• OR currently enrolled in a BSN program (junior level or completion of at least one clinical practicum)
• BLS Certification (required)

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience working with diverse patient populations
• CNA Certification (preferred, where applicable)

Certifications & Licenses

• BLS Certification (required)
• CNA Certification (preferred)
