Our client is a real estate firm. They seek a temp to perm Senior Property Accountant to join their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting workpapers for monthly closing
• Draft lease abstracts and enter setup information into Yardi
• Generate and/or review annual CAM reconciliations and RE Tax Escalations
• Execute AR functions such as review of receipt postings and reviewing tenant charges
• Assess and approve loan and specified property invoices
• Compile lender compliance certification packages
• Create journal entries, bank reconciliations, and management fee calculations
• Balance escrows and reserves
• Support with annual audits and annual budgets
• Assemble periodic financial packages, including analyses and supporting schedules of balance sheet and P&L statement accounts

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor’s Degree
• 2+ years of property accounting experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Analytical, organized, and detail-oriented
• Excel experience required
