Food Distribution Coordinator – Older Adult Food Programs
Job Description:
- Build and manage relationships with senior housing communities and other community partners.
- Assist with food distributions to low-income community members across Long Island.
- Connect individuals to community resources and educate them on local supports.
- New client enrollment and database maintenance.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years’ experience in customer service experience helping community members access services on Long Island.
- Previous experience driving a non-CDL box truck preferred
- Ability to lift 40-pound boxes for prolonged periods of time.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred.
Other:
- 40 hours per week Monday- Friday. Occasional Saturdays.
- Indoor and outdoor work environments, including inclement weather.
- Salary: $24.50 per hour
- Full-time and part-time positions available
