Position Summary

As a Medical Technologist , you’ll play an essential role in delivering top-quality care. Using your skills and expertise, you’ll perform accurate laboratory tests, operate state-of-the-art equipment, and apply scientific principles to analyze and correct deviations from expected results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform precise specimen analysis and report results following established protocols.
• Complete QC logs, preventive maintenance, and daily operational tasks to ensure smooth lab functioning.
• Assist with the training and mentoring of new personnel, contributing to the growth of the team.
• Continuously evaluate work processes and make recommendations for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Science-related studies.
• Valid NYS License for Clinical Laboratory Technologist (or provisional).
• ASCP MT certification (preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of generalist experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
