Industrial Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues.
• Conduct machine safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Set up and operate various machines for production runs, including labeling systems and packaging machines.
• Maintain and repair heavy equipment, including forklifts and conveyor systems.
• Utilize manual machining skills for custom repairs and modifications.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and equipment reliability.
• Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and inspections.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong skills in plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Experience with heavy equipment repair and facilities maintenance.
• Familiarity with machine safety inspections and setups for production runs.
• Hands-on experience with labeling systems, packaging machines, liquid fill pumps, palletizers, conveyor systems, and servo motors.
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the job, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Forklift certification is preferred.
