Duties Description Perform lower-level professional assignments that require specific program knowledge and closely resemble those typically performed by professional staff in the same organization. Assignments are characterized by the application of clear guidelines or precedents, which require basic analysis, review, and decision-making.As a Program Aide you will perform a range of duties under the supervision and guidance of senior staff in the Communications Division, monitoring the Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) requests and providing administrative support to the marketing, videography, web and social media directors

If the number of interested candidates who meet the promotional qualifications is three or less, the agency; at its discretion, may nominate one or more of the candidates for a noncompetitive promotion without further examination under the provisions of Section 52.7 of the Civil Service Law.
