Contract Paralegal - Plaintiff’s Personal Injury (Rochester, NY)
Contract Paralegal for a Plaintiff's Personal Injury. Plaintiff 's personal injury attorney in Rochester, New York seeks an experienced contract paralegal to assist with litigation matters. Most cases are venued in Monroe County, New York:
Responsibilities :
- Draft discovery demands and responses
- Prepare Bills of Particulars
- Request and organize medical records
- Communicate with clients to gather information for BOP
- Draft summons and complaints
-Coordinating service of process
- Assemble exhibits and prepare filings
- File documents through the New York State Courts Electronic Filing System (NYSCEF).
Requirements:
- Senior paralegal level, minimum 8 years of experience with
New York personal injury litigation.
- Must be able to file documents and exhibits with NYCEF.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Schedule and Pay:
Flexible, contract work.
Pay $35.00 - 45.00/ hour depending on experience and/or
some project based flat rate for ex.: BOP response: $150-300+
vs. BOP demands. Negotiable.
