SUMMARY
The Servers job is to execute River Stone Manors steps of service at the highest quality level while maintaining a professional attitude and appearance. To be in the hospitality business, it is imperative to have a service mindset. Hospitality is defined as the generous reception and entertainment of guests, visitors or strangers. This is what we do. Event Coordinator and Banquet Manager Direct reports:
None HOURS
Driven by weekly schedule, weekend availability required POSITION DETAILS
Server Accountabilities:
- Assists in the proper set-up and take down of all catered events.
- Attends all pre-function meetings to review all details of the event with Banquet Manager
- Communicates feedback from guests and/or associates to the Event Manager and/or Captain
- Is familiar with all food being served at events including preparation, main ingredients, side dishes and garnishes, and any allergies listed
- Takes orders using menu cards with position numbers by confirming with the guests at the table
- Clears each table thoroughly between courses removing soiled silverware and glassware
- Completes quality checks immediately after each course is served
- When possible, assists fellow servers with table maintenance in order to exceed guest expectations as a team
- Maintains cleanliness and order of server stations
- Organization and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Strong work ethic, guest-focused attitude and professional appearance.
- Ability to lift 30 pounds and stand for at least 8 hours
- Flexibility; working varying shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays, as required.
