This position is based in our New York City office.

Position Summary

Intern Investments

• Position will work in the investments team at CleanCapital

• Assist the team in maintaining databases and collect information to improve underwriting and market strategy

• Assist team in improving modelling of various contracting structures and policies across the US

• Assist team in developing underwriting methodologies for emerging markets

Core Responsibilities

• Assisting in data collection, research and modelling related to CleanCapital’s core investment thesis of solar and storage projects across various markets in the US

• Involved in financial modelling of development and operating assets and determine core areas of investment

• Ad-hoc data collection and data cleanup associated

• VBA and excel based modelling to automate and improve project development and origination life cycle

• Research retail and wholesale electricity markets across the US and translate key policy and regulations into financial models

Education Requirements

• Undergraduate degree + 2 years’ experience or master’s degree in engineering, Finance or other relevant degrees
