The Dynatite Machine Operators primary function are to ensure the assembly of various parts while using machines.
Job Duties:
- Assembling a variety of parts to Duro Dyne specifications.
- Operate assembly fixtures such as: JDS/JD assembly machine Riveter Bracket Machines small presses & Crimper Machine.
- Hand packaging of small kits and parts.
- Operate small hand tools.
- Inspection of material as it is being fabricated.
- Notify the supervisor when a machine is not working properly.
- Reporting incidents faulty operations or product imperfections.
- Notify the supervisor if plating is poor.
- Record daily production and maintain production quotas on Duro Dyne forms.
- Load any and all raw materials as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Abilities
- Basic math skills.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
- Must be flexible OT and weekends are required as needed.
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
- 1-2 years manufacturing or assembly experience
Physical Requirements Essential
- Must be able to read/write.
- Must be in good physical condition.
- Must have good eye/hand coordination.
- Must be able to lift 25 to 30 lbs routinely.
- Must be able to stand and/or bend for long periods of time (Varied based on daily tasks)
- Use of one or both feet or legs to move controls on machinery or equipment. Controls include but are not limited to pedals buttons levers and cranks.
- Holding grasping turning or otherwise working with the hand(s). Note: Fingers are involved only to the extent that they are an extension of the hand to hold or operate a tool such as pliers.
