Thurs-Sun or Fri-Mon Nanny in Manhasset (Spanish-Speaking)

A private family located in Hudson Square, Manhattan is seeking an experienced Nanny to join their team. The Nanny would be working alongside a set of Rotational Nannies as their 3rd Nanny. The family has a second home in Long Island, that you would have to work from at times. While in LI, you can live-in during your 4 day shift.

The Ideal Candidate: A Spanish speaker that has several years of experience in Nannying. This person will have had worked long-term for families and can provide a reference for those positions. Someone flexible and adaptable and has worked in a staffed home and understands the team environment. Someone with strong planning, organizational and multitasking skills with minimal supervision. An individual that is knowledgeable and proactive in understanding developmental stages and teaching children.

What Works Best for Family: Someone who is able to commit to a Thursday – Sunday OR Friday – Monday schedule. It would be great if there is flexibility with these days incase the family is traveling. Hours are 8am – 7pm or 9am – 8pm with a 1 hour break during the day!

Position Responsibilities

• Childcare: 03 Children, Ages 5 years old and 2 year old twins
• Housekeeping: Light Housekeeping Required
• Cooking: Children’s Meals Only
• Laundry: Children Laundry Only
• Driving: Drivers License is required
• Travel:Must be flexible to travel internationally and domestically with the family when required.

Position Requirements

• Work Hours: 9:00 am – 8:00 pm or 10:00 am – 8:00 pm (40-44 hours per week) Thurs – Sun or Fri – Monday with flexibility for travel
• Languages: Native Spanish & English is preferred
• Experience:At least 5 years of experience in Nannying; Long term with 1 family is required
• References: Minimum of 2 References
• Background: Background check upon contingent offer of hire

• Salary:$40-$45 per hour depending on experience
