This position specializes in emergency room care and offers a dynamic work environment within a Level 3 trauma center. Key Responsibilities of the ER Registered Nurse

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients across a range of conditions and age groups
• Manage patient assignments including for boarded and psychiatric patients
• Administer medications and manage IVs
• Perform EKGs and respiratory treatments as needed
• Coordinate with crisis clinicians and advanced practice staff for comprehensive care

Requirements of the ER Registered Nurse

• 1 year minimum of specialty experience in emergency room nursing
• Current NY license or proof of application
• Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
• Experience with Epic EMR system within the last 2 years
