General Construction Worker
Join a dynamic team working on a variety of commercial construction projects. As a General Construction Worker, you will play a key role in supporting multiple phases of construction, contributing to the successful completion of each project. This position is ideal for individuals with hands-on construction experience who are adaptable, reliable, and eager to work in a collaborative environment. The role offers the opportunity to develop a broad skill set while working alongside experienced professionals.
Responsibilities
- Perform general construction tasks across multiple trades, including carpentry, demolition, and site work
- Safely operate hand and power tools, as well as basic construction equipment
- Assist with layout, measuring, and installation activities as directed
- Support skilled tradespeople and follow instructions from supervisors
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site at all times
- Adhere to project plans, schedules, and safety guidelines
Qualifications
- 1–3+ years of general construction experience (preferred)
- Familiarity with standard construction practices and procedures
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Physical stamina and dependability
- Experience in commercial construction (preferred)
- Experience operating equipment such as skid steers or lifts (preferred)
- OSHA certification (preferred)
