Inside Sales Specialist

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for overall support of company products and services, with a focus on delivering customer satisfaction. This position serves as a primary contact for dealers and customers. Interactions made in this capacity impact the financial health of the company in terms of overall ability to provide accurate and timely response of required information.

• This position is a liaison between inside sales, service, engineering, production, credit, and shipping personnel. Continuous effective communication is essential.
• Provide quotes, pricing, delivery, assist with inquiries and process orders for units in a timely manner.
• Discuss product specifications, options, and accessories with customers.
• As needed, makes periodic calls to customers to determine satisfaction with the company, products, or services.
• Determines the best method to resolve problems to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to company policies.
• Communicate information gained from the field to Engineering, Sales and Production to help minimize future warranty claims.
• Responsible for proper procedures in the sale and delivery of units and parts, including all associated paperwork.
• Contributes with the development and continued support of sales and marketing of units.
• Cross train with service parts sales as needed. An individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above. WHAT WE OFFER YOU:

• Compensation: $24.17 – $37.34 per hour.
  • (equivalent to approximately $50,273.60 – $77,667.20 annually based on a 40-hour workweek).
  • This position is classified as nonexempt and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable law.

EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Associates Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree in related technical field, or related experience.
• Experience in a technical-related area, inside sales or customer service; experience in truck equipment industry preferred.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have experience in using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word on a Windows operating system.
• Use of MRP system is preferable. Excellent telephone skills required.
• Must have previous experience in customer service.
• Ability of mechanical aptitude, problem analysis, and resolution.
• Ability to learn our product line of equipment.
• Must have a high level of demonstrated customer service commitment.
• Must have organizational, detail, and follow-up skills.
• Must have interpersonal and communication skills and be a strong team player.
• Ability to perform written and verbal communication.
• Ability to understand concepts behind specific ideas.
• Ability to remember multiple tasks given to self and others over long periods of time.

PHYSICAL & MENTAL DEMANDS:

• The majority of time will be spent sitting at a computer station in an office environment.
• Brief periods of walking in a shop/manufacturing setting may be required.
• Ability to concentrate on fine details with constant interruption.
• Ability to attend to tasks for 1 to 2 hours at a time.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

• This job is predominantly indoors in an office setting. Occasionally on the shop floor or show floor, depending on the needs of the customer.
