Mens Technical Designer Knitwear
- Location: NYC - 5 days per week
- FT Hours - Pay rate $65-72/hour based on experience
- Create and maintain technical packages in PLM.
- Lead fit sessions, evaluate garment fit, and provide clear technical comments to vendors.
- Review samples, pattern corrections, and construction details to ensure design intent and quality standards are achieved.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and global vendors to support on-time product development.
- Manage multiple seasons while meeting key development milestones and proactively identifying technical risks.
- Support continuous improvement of fit standards, construction, and technical processes.
- 10+ years of Technical Design experience in knit apparel.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, patternmaking, grading, and fit.
- Experience with Centric PLM (or similar), Adobe Illustrator, and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
