Accounts Payable Specialist

About this position:
This role is responsible for providing day-to-day accounting and/or finance tasks relating to the needs of our firm’s clients.
Responsibilities:

- Prepare and submit journal entries into cloud-based industry specific accounting software.
- Receive, review, and verify invoices and payment requests.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving reports.
- Ensure proper approvals and GL coding.
- Preparation of GAAP financial statements.
- Maintenance and review of SOC-1 internal control procedures
- Weekly maintenance of an internal client deliverable schedule
Requiremed Education and Experience
1. Associate degree in accounting, Finance, or another Business-related field
2. Proficiency with software related products such as Microsoft software programs, such as Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and OneNote.
