We are looking for an HR Specialist to join our team in Rochester, New York. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team while supporting various human resources functions, including recruitment, compliance, and benefits administration. Responsibilities:• Provide backup support for a wide range of human resources functions, ensuring smooth departmental operations.
• Assist with talent acquisition efforts, including recruitment activities and onboarding processes.
• Serve as a backup for benefits administration, ensuring timely management of employee benefits.
• Organize and schedule training sessions to support employee development.
• Ensure compliance with Department of Health regulations and other applicable standards.
• Conduct audits of employee files and maintain accurate, organized records.
• Handle administrative tasks related to HR operations, contributing to overall team efficiency.• At least 2 years of experience in human resources or equivalent internship experience with a relevant degree.
• Familiarity with HR functions in the healthcare or non-profit sector is a plus.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Proficiency in HR systems, such as Paylocity, and Microsoft Office applications.
• A degree in human resources or a related field is preferred, though relevant experience will be prioritized.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to varying tasks and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
