Job Description
- Advise clients on corporate matters, including emerging companies and growth-related transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate key agreements, such as financing and equity documents.
- Conduct thorough due diligence to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide strategic legal counsel.
- Stay updated on industry trends and legal developments affecting clients in the professional services sector.
- Manage client relationships and ensure timely delivery of high-quality legal services.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members as needed.
- Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities to enhance client offerings.
The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate should have:
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to the New York State Bar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in corporate law, particularly in emerging companies and growth transactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build strong client relationships.
- A proactive mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional legal support.
