Chimney Technician
Paragon Chimney & Roofing is a fast-growing, second-generation Chimney and Roofing company with over 30 years of experience in the industry.
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Chimney Technician to join our team in New York. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with chimney systems, masonry, and exterior work.
Responsibilities
* Perform chimney inspections, cleaning, and maintenance
* Install and repair chimney liners (stainless steel, aluminum, etc.)
* Conduct masonry repairs including brickwork, crown repair, and pointing
* Install chimney caps, dampers, flashing, and venting systems
* Diagnose issues and recommend appropriate solutions
* Ensure all work meets NYC building codes and safety standards
* Maintain clean and organized job sites
* Communicate clearly with team members and management
Requirements
* Minimum 2+ years of chimney or related construction experience
* Knowledge of chimney systems, venting, and basic roofing
* Comfortable working on ladders and roofs
* Valid driver’s license
* Strong work ethic and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
