Schedule: Day Shift | 5x8-Hour Shifts

Shift Timing: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Weekly Hours: 40 Hours

Position Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a qualified Dietetic Technician to support nutritional services within the MSCH Mixing Room in a pediatric hospital environment. The Dietetic Technician will assist with nutrition-related operations, feeding preparation processes, documentation, and coordination within the healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong nutrition knowledge, hospital nutrition-related experience, and excellent communication and organizational skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with nutritional preparation and mixing room operations

• Support patient nutrition services and feeding management processes

• Maintain accurate documentation related to nutrition and feeding activities

• Utilize hospital electronic feeding management systems and Microsoft Office applications

• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and infection control guidelines

• Collaborate with dietitians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams

• Monitor inventory and assist with nutritional supply organization

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

• Provide professional communication with staff and patients as appropriate

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Associate Degree required

• Minimum 2 years of hospital nutrition-related work experience required OR enrollment in an approved nutrition education program

• Food Safety Certification required at time of booking

• Strong verbal and written communication skills required

• Good interpersonal and organizational abilities required

• Strong computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite and/or electronic feeding management systems required

• Good math skills required

Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Associate Degree required

• Student currently enrolled in Nutrition or related healthcare field preferred

Licensure / Certification:

• Food Safety Certification required

• Additional nutrition or dietary-related certifications preferred
