Key Objectives

• Accurately enter and process patient orders in compliance with clinic protocols and regulatory standards.
  
• Maintain up-to-date records to support inventory management and patient care.
  
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
  

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and enter patient orders into the electronic order management system.
  
• Verify order details for completeness and accuracy, resolving discrepancies as needed.
  
• Coordinate with healthcare providers and dispensary staff to confirm order specifications.
  
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA and state regulations regarding patient information.
  
• Assist with inventory tracking by updating order statuses and reporting supply needs.
  
• Respond promptly to internal inquiries related to order status and processing.
  
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on order entry processes.
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration or related fields is a plus.
  
• Proven experience in order entry, data management, or administrative support, preferably within healthcare or wellness sectors.
  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems or order management software.
  
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  
• Ability to handle sensitive patient information with discretion and professionalism.
  
• Familiarity with medical marijuana regulations and compliance standards is advantageous.
