ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and serve a diverse selection of cocktails, wines, and other beverages with precision and consistency
- Create and innovate new cocktail recipes while also mastering classic cocktail techniques
- Provide exceptional hospitality by engaging with guests, offering recommendations, and accommodating special requests
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking and replenishing supplies as needed
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and hygienic work environment
- Collaborate with the kitchen and other team members to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests
- Uphold the reputation and image of Chica and The Don through professional conduct and presentation at all times
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience as a bartender in upscale casual restaurants/bar in New York
- Toast POS training
- Personable, positive, hospitable with a sharp sense of urgency while creating a warm & welcoming experience for guests
- Ability to multi-task in a high-volume space
- Attention to detail, and a great team player
