Vice President of Operations Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm
A Day in the Life of a Vice President of Operations:
As a Vice President of Programs and Services you will oversee Arc Wayne's operational strategies and processes, ensuring alignment with overall mission and vision.
- Develops and implements operational strategies, in collaboration with senior executive team, to achieve agency objectives.
- Oversees day to day activities, optimizing processes and ensuring quality service delivery.
- Manages and guides various departments, providing leadership, training, and development opportunities for staff.
- Oversees the hiring, training, supervision and evaluation of assigned staff. Provides oversight of employment recommendations to include disciplinary action, re-assignments, and separations.
- Oversees operational budgets, monitoring expenses and revenue. Intervenes as necessary to make adjustments while meeting budgeted benchmarks.
- Ensures compliance with relevant regulations and policies, identifying and mitigating operational risks.
- Ensures effective communication and collaboration between all departments.
Who We Are Looking For:
- Master's Degree and three years' experience in managing and motivating teams.
- Bachelor's degree and five years' experience in managing and motivating teams.
- Outstanding oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Extremely well organized, detail oriented and able to meet frequent and changing deadlines.
- Technical Proficiency. Familiarity with operational management software and tools.
- Ability to travel as needed to support Agency needs.
- Must possess a current, valid New York State driver's license that meets the Agency driver standards.
