VP, Product Manager, Agency & Trust
Business Description:
Issuer Services, part of the Services division, delivers scaled and bespoke administrative services in support of Debt and Equity Capital Market transactions, Project Finance and other forms of capital raising / deployment. Issuer Services is a global business with offices located in the U.S., Mexico, Brazil, UK, Ireland, Germany, Dubai, Korea, Hong Kong, India and Singapore.
A Product Manager position is available within the Issuer Services – Agency and Trust (“A&T”) business located in New York.
Role Overview:
The North America (“NAM”) Product Manager will be responsible for the development and execution of product plans and strategies, while overseeing product offering and services for the North America region, working in coordination with the broader Global Product Management team. A key objective of this role is to lead the development of existing product offerings, increase share of market and maintain a competitive position. The role will have a focus on Structured Finance, Specialised Agency services and Project Finance in North America
Responsibilities:
Manage the NAM Agency and Trust product offerings, including target market analysis, financials, competitive analysis and supporting strategic planning and delivery. Working with the Global Product Managers
Lead the development of new product initiatives, including collaborating with global product managers, business stakeholders and obtaining necessary product approvals for new initiatives/services
Be the day-to-day NAM product management go-to SME for core products, especially Structured Finance, Specialised Agency services and Project Finance
Responsibility for optimal product delivery, client experience, and client communication strategies
Drive innovation by working with external partners/alliances as needed to develop products, manage ongoing relationships
Liaise with Sales and Transaction Management team to execute delivery of service across Agency and Trust transactions. Support Sales in considering new transactions, including considering pricing in accordance with Global Product Approval Program
Build and develop client and market relationships as appropriate
Maintain control and awareness of product revenues and deposits
Contribute to various periodic team meetings and forums as Product Manager
Engage in wallet sizing of product, market management, Sales channel management, maintain marketing materials
Participating in governance meetings. Ensure compliance with all Citi governance procedures and relevant processes.
Collaborate with and support in-business risk as required.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Qualifications/Skills:
5 years of relevant financial services experience
Experience in product management or product development
Experience in managing deliverables across multi-function and/or global business
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and in a team of diverse skill sets and cultures
Education:
Bachelor’s University degree or equivalent experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$129,840.00 - $194,760.00
