TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OR RN in Rochester, New York, 14626!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Operating Room License: New York State License required Certifications: BLS, CNOR preferred Must-Have: Mandatory competency with phlebotomy and placement of IVs Description: The shift can alternate throughout the week depending on day and staffing needs. You may be scheduled for 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM one shift, then the next shift from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM within the same week. Experience is required in ortho-total joint, trauma, neuro, gynecology, urology, vascular, and thoracic surgeries. RNs need to have proficiency in general operating room skills and various surgical procedures. Must be comfortable in a diverse environment and able to handle a wide range of surgical cases. Experience with EPIC charting is preferred. Candidates should be prepared to float as needed. Minimal request time off is acceptable. Call is required as part of the job responsibilities.
