The Work

  • You’ll build good working relationships with the project team to ensure timely, accurate flow of cost related information .
  • You’ll perform the necessary research and assemble all information regarding current cost performances.
  • You’ll develop integrated revenue/expense analysis, projections, reports, and presentations.
  • You’ll create and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately.
  • You’ll provide variance reporting and analysis to ensure any deviation from project plan is highlighted, analyzed, and reported as directed.
  • You’ll identify trends and developments in competitive environments and present findings to senior management.
  • You’ll perform budget, financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.
  • You’ll maintain management tracking spreadsheets.
  • You’ll pull data queries.
  • Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.
  • With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.

$115,000 - $125,000 a year

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York or Washington as set forth below.

Here’s What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8 years of experience in accounting / cost controls in the field or in a related area
  • Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets Accenture requirements

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience working within a regulated utility
  • Proficient users of Word, Access, Outlook, and Excel (Pivot tables and V-lookups)
  • Possess knowledge and understanding of financial and accounting principles
  • Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Must be able to self-manage and work well in a changing environment
  • Good written and oral communications skills with analytical experience
